Physical Education and ICT
This mobility activity in Izmir, Turkey combined Physical Education and Information Technologies to help students learn coding logic through games and movement-based tasks. Participants worked on unplugged coding, Minecraft Education Edition, and eSafety, starting with icebreakers and station-based physical activities that introduced algorithmic thinking. Students then completed eSafety workshops (including evaluating online information using the “Crap Test”) and created digital awareness materials, while teachers attended a parallel workshop on teaching internet safety. In mixed teams, students designed and presented Minecraft-based physical activity tracks and scenarios, and the programme concluded with collaborative work on project outputs and a closing ceremony.
