Physical Education and Biology

This 5-day mobility activity linked Biology and Physical Education under the theme “Our Body and Sport.” Students worked in mixed international teams to explore how the body functioned, why movement was essential, and how nutrition influenced health. Using interactive digital tools (e.g., Kahoot, Genially/Thinking, Google Slides), an “Our Body” atlas, and augmented reality applications, participants created presentations, designed physical-activity stations, and kept a physical activity diary while measuring pulse and heart responses. The programme also included creative tasks (nutrition cartoons, recipe presentations), team competitions, peer feedback, and it concluded with surveys and a closing ceremony.

This activity was held in Rakovski, Plovdiv, Bulgaria from September 29th to October 3rd, 2025. During this period, various activities were organized to connect physical education with biology. The school Hristo Smirnenski, Rakovski, Plovdiv hosted these activities.
